AIS continues to reinforce its leadership and advance the creation of an ecosystem for the Thai esports industry, particularly through the organization of Thailand's first national high school esports competition, the AIS eSports S Series 2022 by Dutch Mill. This initiative, a collaboration between AIS and Dutch Mill, along with Beelink Media, has notably expanded opportunities across various regions of the country, allowing youth with dreams of becoming professional gamers to showcase their talents. Thai children can demonstrate their potential through esports competitions in the popular MOBA game, ROV. This year, a total of 834 teams from 126 schools participated, comprising 4,690 players who competed from the qualifying rounds to the final 16 teams. Ultimately, the DekDeb team from Thep Sirin School emerged as champions, with the project offering a total scholarship fund of 175,000 baht.

Ms. Rungthip Jarusiripipat, Managing Director of AIS's Entertainment and Content Business Partnerships, spoke about how AIS provides opportunities for talented youth to showcase their potential in this competition, stating, "The AIS eSports S Series 2022 is being held for the second year and has garnered significant interest and success compared to the first year, which featured only 8 schools. This year, we have expanded to 126 schools, exceeding our expectations."

The AIS eSports S Series 2022 for high school students offers a chance for children to gain experiences similar to those on a grand stage, enabling them to develop themselves towards professional competition. The tournament employs the same competitive format as that of professional athletes, requiring skills to prove their abilities through each round of competition, from school level to provincial and national levels. This highlights the potential of Thai youth interested in esports, showcasing their planning, teamwork, and determination akin to professional athletes. AIS is committed to providing opportunities for Thai children to continue demonstrating their talents.

For the AIS eSports S Series 2022 by Dutch Mill, the selection of the final 16 teams was highly competitive, divided into three sections:

1. Representatives from 12 schools in Bangkok, with one team selected from each school.

2. Representatives from schools in Chiang Mai and Phuket, with one team selected from each province, totaling 2 teams.

3. General high school youth applicants from across the country, with 2 teams selected.

The DekDeb team from Thep Sirin School successfully claimed victory in the AIS eSports S Series 2022 by Dutch Mill, winning a total prize of 50,000 baht.

The members of the DekDeb team expressed their feelings, saying, "We were very excited about the final round because it was a high-pressure match, but everyone was determined to fight hard and support each other throughout. This victory feels like a significant achievement before we finish high school, especially since last year we were runners-up to Bangkok Christian College."

This year, we were very dedicated, spending a month preparing for this competition, combined with our 6 years of experience in esports, which made us quite ready. This competition has fostered friendships and instilled discipline in managing our time for practice alongside other activities. We would like to thank AIS for organizing this tournament, allowing us and all teams to showcase our abilities. It has been the largest national stage in our lives.
